the coaching opportunity

I never had aspirations to be an entrepreneur and I especially had no desire to work in the fitness field; I studied Law at University, and then completed a Masters in Criminal Psychology before embarking on a career working with people with highly chaotic lives and problematic behaviours; I was content with my 9-5,  steady income and civil service pension. But I had numerous health problems and a body that was desperately in need to an overhaul and some TLC; little did I know that Beachbody had the solution to helping me heal and would open my life up to opportunities I never imagined would be possible.

I get asked all the time what I do, how do I make money and is this a scam or pyramid scheme?  I totally understand why people have these questions because I felt the same way and had the same questions when I first found Beachbody in 2014. At that time, the coaching opportunity wasn't available in the UK so I spent 3 years doing research, finding out what a coach did and what the coaching opportunity was all about.

If it wasn’t for my various health problems, I would not be where I am today. Everything that has happened has given me blessings, challenges and growth personally and for my family. Yes, coaching may not be for everyone, but I would be doing a great disservice if I didn’t share it with everyone and anyone

I host monthly "sneak peeks" into the coaching opportunity. If you'd like to know more, message me or reserve your place today

so what is coaching?

All Beachbody coaches started out as customers. Most of us were looking for a solution to a problem, whether that was shedding baby weight, getting a revenge bod, healing our bodies or just trying to be a bit healthier and balance out weekends of booze and junk food.

We've gone through the programmes, seen transformations, been amazed by our results and inspired to help others experience the same.

We're not sales people. We don't buy Beachbody products in bulk and then sell them on to cover our expenses. We're not fitness experts or nutritionists; there are over 700 of them to support us!

We're just passionate about the products and want to help others.

The term "coach" can be confusing sometimes. We haven't undertaken qualifications nor are we life coaches. We're a bit like a middle-man, linking Beachbody with customers, drawing on our own experiences and successes with the programmes.

so what does it tak to be a coach?

If you haven't guessed, Beachbody coaches are normal people just like you! You don't have to be at your goal weight, in peek physical condition or have your nutrition down to a T; in fact, more people will be inspired by you sharing your journey and you progression, rather than someone who is perfect.

No matter your age, gender, background or status, ANYONE can be a Beachbody coach.

Your level of success depends on how hard you are willing to work, however all it really takes to be a coach is a commitment to four vital behaviours and consistent action.

“It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It's what we do consistently.”
- Tony Robbins

the four vital behaviours

The four vital behaviours underpin what we do as a Beachbody coach. They are:
  1. Be A Product of the Product - this means following a programme, using the supplement range (Shakeology and the Performance Line) and working out every single day
  2. Personal Development - one of this things I love about Beachbody is the emphasis placed on emotional development and personal growth. We don't just focus on physical transformations, but personal transformations too. This includes emotional (and sometimes spiritual) growth, shifting our mindsets, and developing as entrepreneurs and business people.
  3. Inviting - this involves connecting with people and identifying the right solution for their health-related issue. The range of programmes available means there is almost guaranteed to be a programme available for everyone regardless of their age or ability.
  4. Recognition - everyone likes to feel appreciated, and Beachbody know that this is so important, they made it a fundamental feature of our day-to-day business. This can be as simple as a Facebook post about a team mate, challenger or friend who is overcoming adversity and making lifestyle changes. Beachbody also invest over $100 million in recognising coaches who are helping people transform their lives.

how do coaches help people?

We run private groups either on Facebook or via an app where we provide support, accountability and inspiration to our customers, who check in on a daily basis. We share sweaty selfies, recipes, meal plans, and lift each other up when life gets in the way; collectively, we're like a group of cheerleaders who rally around to support one another.

We run our challenges as a team where we all contribute to make them a fun experience for everyone! Also, it allows newer coaches to get a taste of running a group without any of the pressure of running a group on their own.

who are your customers?

One of the BIGGEST questions I get is that I don’t know who to invite or I don’t want to sell to my friends or family!

Sometimes your friends and family end up being your first customers because they want to support you, and sometimes they don’t. Customers are often people you connect with online, and only one member of Shape Your Own Destiny is someone I knew in real life; everyone else, I have developed my friendship with online.

Some people on the team were complete social media luddites; they only used Facebook occasionally and didn't even know what Instagram was our how to use it! I know I used to use Facebook for looking at cat videos and seeing what my friends and family were up to! With training and support, I have upped my social media, learned to swallow my ego, and have made some amazing relationships as a result.

I know that this business works. It's not a get-rich-quick-scheme or something that guarantees overnight success, but if you're showing up, working out and sharing what's keeping you motivated, success will follow.

Just as a transformation takes time, building a network takes time. Look at this as if you were learning to swim; you don't learn everything about swimming before you get in the pool, you just get in and get wet! It takes practice and persistence to conquer the front crawl but before you know it, you're jumping in with both feet and swimming becomes second nature.
The number one thing people want to know about is money and how coaching can supplement or replace your income.

It sound crazy and almost too good to be true, but as crazy as it sounds the income opportunities are limitless. The woman who inspired me to become a coach has developed a life-changing income with hard work, consistency and showing up every single day (even when she didn't want to).

Over time, the small actions of helping three new people a month and building your own team, starts to create a residual income that grown exponentially.

However, Beachbody does not guarantee any level of success or income, and each Coach’s income depends on his or her own efforts, diligence, and skill. You can view the Statement of Independent Earnings here: http://tbbcoa.ch/TBB_SOICE
